My Family ...details on the dearest people to me...

My Statement of Faith.... This past spring, I underwent the elder examination in the PCA and passed. I learned much about theology that I never really thought about, and have come to believe these things about the Christian faith.

My Thoughts On Christian Worship...Some doctrinal views that I have on Christian worship.

Praise Songs Samples ...A few samples of some original Christian praise songs that have been used at Crosspointe Church over the years. Links available for all the lyrics.

Songs With David Case ...David is my sister's husband, and we have written/arranged several songs together...These are from the Christmas musical, Anno Domini

My Resume.... On 7/22/2003, my full-time position as Worship Director at Crosspointe Church was eliminated. After a long wrestle with God on what to do next, I have a peace about entering the Real Estate world.

My Family

Carole and I met in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1982. We married in June 1983, and moved to Austin, Texas 2 years later in the summer of 1985. When we married on Father's Day of 1983, I also became a father to Carole's son, Casey Michael Williams. He was a charming 3 1/2 at the wedding, and is now a Business Marketing graduate from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX (2003). He is a past All American (brag...brag...) in NCAA Division II track & field for the 1600M relay; he also ran the 400M and occasionally the 800M. As iron sharpens iron, I have learned how to be a better person through the interactions of being Casey's 'step-dad'... still, I miss the little boy that I fell in love with over 20 years ago...(see the poem "Beyond Knees and Elbows")

Carole and I enjoy cooking, gardening, reading, and occasionally, writing music together, but mostly we like to think that we just enjoy being together!! We are from opposite ends of the "DOING=BEING" scale. She is less apt to do much, and I am prone to overdo too much (see the poem "In The Garden"). God is so good in bringing us together to enjoy the growing process of becoming more whole as a married couple. Though we have been through storms together, He is faithful and just and always provides a path through His grace... (See the poem "Sooner or Later" or "Breaking the Cycle")
